We generally charge for our services by the hour or by the acre. Timber sales are charged on a percentage . However, some projects can occasionally be quoted at a fixed price. We often recommend to new clients that they consider this per-project option during an evaluation phase. New clients also use our hourly support when they need immediate assistance.
Forest Management: We offer long term timberland management assistance to landowners that desire a relationship built on service and communication.
Timber Appraisals: Professional experience in both management and procurement of timber makes us uniquely qualified to perform appraisals. We know how to merchandise each product on the tract to obtain the best value.
Timber Marketing / Sales: Our knowledge of the day-to-day market activity and demand through our procurement of timber tracts and harvesting of these tracts allow for us to help you when it comes time for your timber to be sold.
Harvest Plan / Supervision: The relationship with our client does not end at the time of the timber sale. We help plan and supervise all logging of the timber being sold while protecting the residual stand for the future sale. We require that each harvest be conducted in accordance to the Best Management Practices (BMP’s) issued by the state and that Sustainable Forestry Initiatives (SFI) in accordance with most major timber companies are practiced.
Site Preparation / Planting: Our commitment to the client extends past the sale and harvest of the timber. We plan out and supervise the site preparation and the planting of seedlings to produce a new stand of viable timber.
